Refreshing a Static Content region

Good day

I'm using Application Express 5.0.0.00.31 in the Cloud.

I want to refresh a region when I close a dialog box (modal window). For a region that consists of a Classic Report, I'm able to accomplish this using a Dynamic Action event 'Dialog Closed' and action 'Refresh', This functionality works as expected.

I also want to refresh another region with type of Static Content.

This region has 4 items, each of these items are based on a SQL Query returning a single value.

When I add a dynamic action as above, nothing happens to my Static Content region when I close the dialog box. I've also tried to apply the refresh action on a individual item in the region, but it doesn't refresh.

What is the best way to do this?
