Refresh database taking too long

Hi,

We have oracle linux 6.6 with 16 gb Ram and 8 core processors.Hyperion Planning version is 11.1.2.4.007. I have total dimensions 17 and 2 of them are dense (account and period). I have more than 58 million blocks and my block size is 488 KB. Block density is .02%

By just opening 1 member in account dimension database refresh is taking 15+ hours.

Is this normal behaviour?

Can we improve database refresh time some how?

How to tackle this? any suggestions?
