Refresh After Insert and Refresh After Update in Entity Object

Hi All,

I'm using Jdev 12.2.1.2.0.

Can anyone explain me what is the use of Refresh After Insert and Refresh After Update option in EO's?

I have seen this two options for all attributes in Entity Object.

At which point we need to use this...Any explanation please
