Hi,
I would need to reduce the total size of Oracle.
I've downloaded Oracle Database 11g r2 disks for Linux x86-64 and created a custom installation .
After using custom installation, Oracle is still occupying more than what I can afford as a storage…So I am wondering, is there some components that could be removed from the installation files that would reduce the size?
Would it be possible to select only a few basic components at the installation and remove optional components from
the installation files?
For example, if we look at the following directories which of those can be excluded from the Oracle's directory without
breaking the Oracle.
