Reduce size of temp tablespace...

Hello Guys,

My temp table space is consuming almost 23 GB space on hard drive. I want to reduce this space... is it ok to delete the temp file and create a new one... My Database is 10g release 2 and dont want to shut down my database.

Please help with an easy and secure method to reduce size of temp tablespace.
