RedHat 7.1 Oracle 8.1.7 Installation problem
I have to install Oracle 8.1.7 release 3 on a Linux Red Hat 7.1
system but the runInstaller doesn't work.
When I run the "runInstaller", the system shows the message that
it is loading the installer but no screen is displayed.
When I run the "ps" command, the processes "jre"
and "runInstaller" are waiting.
When I run the "top" command, the process "jre" is using near
the 99% of the CPU.
Does somebody can help me with this issue?, I just verififed the
Oracle checklist as is in the documentation.
The kernel is 2.4.2-2 and the glibc is 2.2.2-10
