Red Hat Linux support

JGagnonNov 12 2013 — edited Nov 12 2013

From some brief searches done on this forum, it appeared that JavaFX 2.2 did not support Red Hat Linux as of the middle of 2012.  Other postings gave the impression that perhaps that has changed by late 2013.  Please provide an update on the compatibility and level of support (if applicable) that JavaFX 2.x has for Red Hat Linux.  I've been working with JavaFX for about 8 months now, but it has been entirely on Windows 7.  I'm now starting up on a new eclipse RCP project that will most likely have Red Hat as the OS installed.  I need to know whether JavaFX would be a good choice for developing the user interfaces, or whether I should revert back to using SWT/JFace.  Any information in this regard along with any other caveats, limitations, gotchas, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
