recovery with no backup

369396Mar 24 2003 — edited Apr 15 2003
I meet such a situation: one of the harddisks on server corrupted, damaged the system tablespace and the online redolog, I know data lost is inevitable and don't expect to recover the database to the timepoint just before the corruption, what I expected is only make the database startup and work again, the database had never been backuped from the last year. what should I do?
database version is 8.1.7, I lautched the following commands and got the following response:
SVRMGR> startup mount
SVRMGR> RECOVER AUTOMATIC TABLESPACE system;
ORA-00283: recovery session canceled due to errors
ORA-00314: log 2 of thread 1, expected sequence# 10916 doesn't match 10913
ORA-00312: online log 2 thread 1: '/u02/app/oracle/oradata/system/redo02.log'
