Recovery problem

I wanted to restart the Oracle server. But I got the following error at the time of start up the database...

ORA-01172: recovery of thread 1 stuck at block 177 of file 2
ORA-01151: use media recovery to recover block, restore backup if needed

Pls tell me the how to solve this query.
