Recovery proactive

Hi,

Os : Aix /Red hat
Db : 10.2

We are in shift basis system.So we spilted the works as per mgt policy.


I am asked to recover the database in rman.My previous shift guy has done restoration.

1,i want to know Whether Correctly he restoration has done or not?

2,Now i want to check what are the achivelogs needed( ie what are the sequence Number needed) for recovery in rman? Is these logs are presently in hard disk or not?

Before start my part.how can i check these things / prepare?
