recover standby database

When issue this command it gives this error;
alter database recover standby database until cancel;

SQL> alter database recover standby database until cancel;
alter database recover standby database until cancel
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00279: change 1512738441 generated at 01/16/2012 16:15:42 needed for thread
1
ORA-00289: suggestion :
/oracle/PRD/oraarch/standby/PRDarch1_24080_696018700.dbf
ORA-00280: change 1512738441 for thread 1 is in sequence #24080

How can i proceed with recovering ?
