Recommended Virtual Memory Size for Oracle APEX on Windows Server 2019

Hello All,

I’m running Oracle APEX on a Windows Server 2019 virtual machine with the following specs:

  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Disk: 180 GB total (67 GB free)
  • Virtual Memory (Pagefile): Currently set to 22 GB
  • Oracle Version:
    Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition Release 19.0.0.0.0 – Production
    Version 19.3.0.0.0

I’ve read that the recommended pagefile size should be 1.5 to 3 times the physical RAM, depending on workload.

In my case:

  • 16 GB RAM
  • 22 GB pagefile

Is this configuration appropriate for running Oracle APEX, or should I adjust the pagefile size? Any best practices or Oracle-specific recommendations for virtual memory sizing on Windows Server?
