Read/add/change Windows registry in Java (from newbie)

Hi,
As a newbie I'm loooking for an example of reading/creating/changing Windows registry in Java. I've been browsing this forum for a quite a while. And I couldn't find a good piece of coding. Probably it's because of my Java experience. Anyway can someone point me to something what I really need?
