RE: CCYYMMDD format in EDIFACT D96A INVOIC

Hi All,
It seems I need to change date in CCYYMMDD format in EDIFACT D96A INVOIC.
I googled and found CC is for Century, not sure if I am correct.

It means I need to change current date 06-SEP-2012 as 21120906

Is this correct? I saw many example for EDIFACT D96A INVOIC but found it is in YYYYMMDD format only even though first 2 digits are for century.

Can some one please confirm on this?
