rcp - giving error - permission denied - Urgent

Hello,
I am getting Permission denied error, when ever i am executing the rcp command. In the source system under user and as well as under root home directory, i have create a .rhosts file with the system ipaddress and username specified.
Now from the destination server i am using the command in the follwoing way.

rcp -p sourcesystemipaddress:/path/filename /userhome

But i get the error as:
permission denied
