RC2 vs 3DES

Hello everyone,
Has anybody made any decisions about using RC2 vs 3DES? Am trying to decide which is a better alternative.

. I know that RC2 is faster that 3DES.
. 3DES is more secure. (but we can have a longer key in RC2 to make it stronger)

Any inputs on the subjects that anyone has would be very much appreciated.
