RBO
Friends,
I have never had experience about this kind of optimizator before. So ,I need to know more preciesly which rules are used by RBO . I mean what should I know to tune queries ? It seems RBO always uses index scan (if it's possible) ,and never consider a percentage of rows must be retrieved . Which techniques are appropriate for RBO and simultaneously inappropriate for CBO ?
