Randomly not getting query results

Sometimes when I run a query, I get back no results....not 0 rows...but no results. When I run the same query as a statement, I get the expected results in the script output. After a minute or two it passes and I rerun, query results will start displaying again.

This happens sporadically and I'm not able to reproduce it. Is anybody else experiencing this with the 2.1 release?
