RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR

I have two problems
first one

I have two column in a table, I want to add them . I want to see result to another a new column
table_name is random , colunm names are NUMBER1, NUMBER2
new column name is SUM1
...............
second problem is

I want to generate random numbers in a table
numbers can be 8 characters and in a new column
can you help me
