raising custom error messages using pnf's

Hello,

I am using Post Notification Functions(PNF) to raise custom errors in workflow approval notifications (11.5.9), but am not satisfied with the format of the message that appears on the notification. Basically whole of the error stack is posted on the notification.

Is it possible to raise custom error messages (using PNF's or otherwise) so that only the error message text appears on the notification and not the entire error stack(with oracle error numbers).
