RAID for ASM Disk groups

Hi Experts ,

1. Oracle Recommended two Disk groups in ASM one for DATA and another for FRA.

    but regarding RAID we have to create separate two RAIDS one for DATA and another RAID for FRA

    or we can create one single Large RAID and make two logical partition assign to the two Disk groups


2. using OCFS2 making shared folder like 2 Terra in same storage but on different RAID not RAID of ASM

   using dumps, backup of OS Linux etc.


Now we are using 10g R2 RAC, in feature we going to update 11gr2 RAC


Pls provide your precious advice thank you
