Radio Button Horizontal Layout

I am developing an APEX application in APEX 5.1.2. I have a page with a radio button page-item. By default the radio button choices are arranged vertically but the user wants the choices to be arranged horizontally. Is there a property for the radio button page item to control this? Is there a JavaScript I can use to arrange the choices horizontally?
