I have some doubts:
1) One of the two nodes have more load than the other, im trying to know what type of load balancing are we using, but can't find any information about it (only that exists 3 , for load, for session and random)
i check my PREFER_LEAST_LOADED_NODE_ and it's not configured ( i can't see anything with "show parameter PREFER_LEAST_LOADED_NODE_ "), our tnsnames are:
*DB =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = sc.com)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = DB)
)
)
STANDBY_DB =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = dt)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = DB)
)
)
DB2 =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = node2_sc)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = DB)
(INSTANCE_NAME = DB2)
)
)
DB1 =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = node1_sc)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = DB)
(INSTANCE_NAME = DB1)
)
)*
I must supposed that we are using load balancing?
2) Could it be mixed the 3 types? how?
thanks for support and your time.
* i promise that i tabulated the script, but don't know what happened :S
