RAC help on SAN

hi all
is it good to use virtual SAN like starwind for rac implementation
or just go for vmware server setup on linux
also i have no knowledge of linux now that's why i want to use virtual san on windows.

any related doc, & first of all how to configure nodes on domain controller , any related doc
