RAC Failover testing
Hi,
I have Oracle E-business suite R12 which is 11g R2 RAC enabled on 2 nodes.
I need to test the failover so i'm trying from local desktop.
I have succussfully tested below mentioned commands on 2 boxes but i am unable to do from my desktop.
=> Working fine from my local desktop
C:\>ping lapvueestw03-vip
C:\>ping lapvueestw01-vip
C:\>ping racnode-cluster-scan
==>Unable to perform below commands from desktop, error is TNS-12535: TNS:operation timed out
C:\>tnsping lapvueestw03-vip
C:\>tnsping lapvueestw01-vip
C:\>tnsping racnode-cluster-scan
$sqlplus system/manager@lapvueestw03-vip:1521/RAC01
$sqlplus scott/tiger@lapvueestw01-vip:1521/RAC01
$sqlplus scott/tiger@racnode-cluster-scan:1521/RAC01
==>Unable to perform telnet also but port 1521 is opened.
C:\>telnet racnode-cluster-scan 1521
C:\>telnet lapvueestw03-vip 1521
C:\>telnet lapvueestw01-vip 1521
I have added virtual ip & hostnames to the hosts file of desktop. tns entry also added to local desktip tnsnames.ora
Please help me to trouble shoot it.
