RAC: disable dynamic remastering feature

jhallJan 13 2012 — edited Jan 13 2012
Hello,

We have an application running on a rac environment that is experiecing significant dynamic remastering events. We would like to run all of the workload on 1 cluster node, but do not have anywhere near the capacity to do this. Since we are stuck running the workload from both cluster nodes at the same time, we see a lot of waiting due to remastering. I would like to test disabling this feature to see if this helps our performance until we can change the architecture, but I have found little documentation on how to do this. Has anyone tested this before and know how to turn off dynamic remastering?
