RAC DB startup issue

Hi !

I have a 2 node RAC database on solaris 10. Database version is 10.2.0.4.
After shutting down both the node(Sun M4k) properly the servers are powered off.
Now when I am trying to startup the servers node 1 server is not coming up. But node 2 is ok.

I know that without the ping response in the private network crs will not come up.
So when i am giving crsctl start crs ....

# crsctl start crs
Attempting to start CRS stack
The CRS stack will be started shortly

and if i give

# crsctl check crs
Failure 1 contacting CSS daemon
Cannot communicate with CRS
Cannot communicate with EVM

There is a hardware problem with the server node 1. But with only node 2 is it possible some how to up the DB?
