Hi,
This is my first post so apologies if this is not the correct page to start a discussion.
I currently have a database set-up which is set up with a RAC cluster over 2 Dell PowerEdge servers connected to a SAN. Only during back-ups or major exports I'm encountering some IOPS bottlenecks.
After doing some online research for OLTP databases the fastest solution will be of course local storage, but then you will find challenges regarding shared storage volumes. But then I came across a solution like Flashgrid which should be able to solve this issue.
Does anyone has experience with Flashgrid or knows another alternative for the scenario above?

I was thinking of Dell PowerEdge R740XD's equipped with SSD's or maybe even PCI-e SSD cards but I’m curious about the opinion of the experts on this forum.
Kind regards,
Joël
