Questions before installation of ASM

Hi all
I have a questions/doubts before do the installation of ASM + Oracle 11G R2

I have got a server with the following characteristics:

Server HP ProLiant DL120 G6 / 490931-001 Intel Xeon X3430 (4Core, 2.40GHz/L3 8MB/1333MHz), memoria 8GB
Hard Drives : 2 de 1 TB c/u
Operation System Linux RedHat Enterprise 5.5.

My question is, what should be the best distribution of disk that i have to create to support ASM ?, i meant how since this architecture what would be the best configuration to support ASM, be awaring that it will be a standalone server, this will be a datawarehouse enviroment.
