questions about template HTMLD features

HTMLDB doesn't generate valid XHTML when using wisards, does it?
Is it possible to extend the built set of predefined templates?

Another question. Can we safely rewrite internal html-code generated by HTMLDB wisards without "hacking" internal algorithms? Is it adjustable? We don't want to have possible troubles with version upgrade in the future.

If it's possible, what steps should we do for it?
