Questions about data aggregation to parents

Hi guys,

I have two questions.

One, once I enter data into leaf level, values don't aggregate to their parent except period dimension. The aggregation method is Addition, storage type Never Share, and data type is Currency. Need I provide member formula to calculate value for the high level members?

Two, some of non-leaf members need their own values. For instance, an business unit in Entity dimension has some departments. Besides consolidating budget from the departments, the BU need a budget for itself. But cells of the non-leaf members are read-only. How to deal with my situation?
