question regarding enq: TX - row lock contention
523059Jun 30 2009 — edited Jun 30 2009We are running oracle 10.2.0.3 on linux itanium platfporm on a 2 node rac cluster. We are an online retail web site and on a couple of occasions recently during high volume we have got a enq: TX - row lock contention on update to the users cart.
I the ASH report I see the following?

I am having trouble accessing metalink at the moment but I was hoping that someome could shed some light on this wait event with the p1,p2,p3 parameters that I have just posted above?
Any idea what mode usn<<16 | slot sequence is referencing?
