Question re: Accessing XE on a Mac via Parallels/WindowsXP from Mac side?
711400Jul 23 2009 — edited Jul 23 2009I have successfully been using the XE on my Windows XP side of my Mac via Parallels, and it works perfectly. I would now like to access it from my Mac side (running 10.5.7). I've enabled the HTTP access to include from remote clients. On my windows side, the URL looks like this:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f?p=104
Where 104 is the # of the app.
On my Mac side, the 127.0.0.1:8080 doesn't access my Windows virtual machine.
I've looked at Windows ipconfig, and it tells me that the ip address on my windows side is 192.168.2.6. But when I enter that on my mac side, i.e.
http://192.168.2.6:8080/apex/f?p=104
nothing happens.
Can someone please enlighten me as to how I can access it correctly?
