Question on Redo log file creation after Restore and Recover

Does RMAN backup redo log files ? Below blog describes steps to restore and recover an RMAN backup in a new host.

RMAN seems to have backed up and restored redo log files

After the recovery , the blogger issues

select * from v$logfile;

and this returns some logfiles. The returned rows are restored redo log files. Right? Does RMAN backup and restore redo log files ?
