Question about ODI COMMIT

I'm trying to integrate many datas on an Oracle 10g RDBMS thanks to an Interface and we would like to see integrated datas before the end of the execution.
So we have tryed to perform different Commit in ODI.

To force the commit 1000 lines we have tryed to change the Commit option in the IKM and more precisely in the "Insert new line" treatment of this IKM.
But when our Interface is started and when we look in the target table there's no data until the end. It's seems to execute an Commit but only at the end of the loading.
I would like to know why or what I have done wrong ??

Moreover I would like to know the differences between Commit - Commit 1000 lines and AutoCommit ?
And if i have to change this option in the IKM ?
