question about form 5

Hello guys,

I know forms 5 is ancient, but just need help with one who is still using it.

Forms 5 .fmx files runs fine in windows 7 and Vista. But does not run (execute) in Windows 8

Why this application is being done again in APEX, we still want to be using them in Windows 8.
