We are happy with the compression in rman, it reduces the size very good but the compression itself really makes our CPU take a whop in the ass. We almost cant use compression on our prods..

We had a guy from Quest here the other week and he presented the Litespeed concept and it sounded good but im making this thread to see with you guys what you think about this feature, if you have used it? The guy from quest said that the compression is better than rman, fine, but we are more intrested in the cpu load generated by the compression itself. Your thoughts about this would be great before we think about implementing this on our tests.
