querying a table using timestamp

Mark ReichmanOct 4 2006 — edited Oct 4 2006
9i database...

Somebody truncated a table.. We need to get the data back... I dont believe Flashback query will work because the undo_retention is not set. At least thats what the DBA says..

According to Tom Kyte there is another way.. RBS... So, I did this...

select *
from accident as of timestamp sysdate-2 b
minus
select *
from accident;

And I got this...

ORA-01466: unable to read data - table definition has changed

But, the table definition has not changed... Sup?
