Hi ,
I have this query (particular one) , which performance wise looks good as per the execution plan and it returns out the data in 2.5 seconds on an average but at times, it spikes upto 3 minutes return time which is what making things worse.
Any suggestions, what could be possibly going wrong?
Could it be some Oracle background process which is holding / locking up this query ?
Flushing the shared pool might help ?
