Quarters Missing.??

hi every one,

I have 2 tables.. A and B

Table A
-------------
ID SDate EDate
------------------------------------
1 1/1/2005 12/31/2007

Table B
------------
ID Q_SDATE Q_EDATE Quarter
-------------------------------------------------
1 1/1/2005 3/31/2005 Q1
1 4/1/2005 6/30/2005 Q2

From the above 2 tables, using the sysdate..
I should display.. for ID =1, Q3 and Q4 are missing...

Quarters missing for a period... Could some one help me around how to do this...
