putty to solaris console and port

807557May 19 2008 — edited May 21 2008
Probably not the best place for this question, but since the ultimate goal is to get on a Solaris console, hoping everyone will forgive. I am trying to use putty (-ssh) to access a Solaris console which is connected to a Cyclade TC. I am trying to get directly to the port that the console is connected to, not the main connection of the TC. I can ssh just fine from openssh or sunssh (ssh -l admin:7016 192.168.135.25), but if I try in putty, it is adding the the port specified, as part of the user name (it thinks the username is "admin:7016"). Does anyone know the way to do this in putty. Just to clarify, I'm not looking to ssh over some other port, I still need port 22 for communication, I just need to go to a specific port on the TC. Thanks in advance for any assistance, I did review the putty FAQ at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/faq.html and searched google quite a bit.
