Put two text items side by side

Hi,

I have a static region. Inside of the region I have two items which I will like to be put side by side. On the first item I star a new grid and on the second I don't. The items are on the same horizontal line, but the first item is way on the left, the second is way on the right. Can I make them so they are right beside each other?

I'm using apex 5.
