Public sandbox auth

Jeremy MaJun 14 2024

Workflow or API calls:

I am trying to access the public sandbox through a provider app created in cerner code-console. I succesfully created an auth-code, but I am unable to get an auth token using the /token endpoint. Instead I get this error:

"Unknown Application" was attempting to request access to healthcare data with Cerner FHIR Public Sandbox; unfortunately, the application doesn't appear to be compatible. If you require further assistance, please contact support.

Information to provide to Technical Support

Correlation ID:

Information to provide to Unknown Application

The Authorization header was missing or invalid. See https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2617 for more information.

Error Code:

urn:cerner:error:authorization-server:oauth2:token:invalid-authorization-header

Cerner's developer portal may provide useful information to assist in resolving this issue.

Is there a way to use oauth as a provider app without using SMART?

Expected Result: Access token

Actual Result:

X-Request-Id / Cerner-Correlation-Id / opc-request-id:
