PRVF-5410 : Check of common NTP Time Server failed

Good Morning!

Can someone point me to a canonical expansion of PRVF-5410?

NTP common Time Server Check started...
PRVF-5410 : Check of common NTP Time Server failed
PRVF-5416 : Query of NTP daemon failed on all nodes
Result: Clock synchronization check using Network Time Protocol(NTP) failed

I've seen the 14-month-old thread on this. In my case, both of my RAC nodes were built from the same kickstart, with the same ntp.conf settings built into a post script. As far as ntpd is concerned, these machines are identical. Further, the kickstart runs ntpdate in the same post script, so I know the times are not mismatched.

This error has me really baffled, and I'd appreciate a chance to know more about it.
