Proxy Settings for Metalink in Gridcontrol

Hi,

For getting metalink&patching settings I am trying to configure proxy & connection settings and i am using manual proxy configuration. I have given all the details like host, port, username and password. I am putting the correct details but it says "Error: - Proxy Test resulted in Exception" but i have confirmed with our network guys and i am giving correct information.

I went to emoms.properties file to set as below
proxyhost=xxxxxxxxxx
proxyport=1234

I have stopped and started and logged in it is not taking the details. Am i doing anything wrong or some additional setting is needed. Please advise.
