Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,

Really sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

As part of my University studies, I have a final project to complete. I have the idea of creating a developed, project management database - print reports, assign users etc etc, you know the idea. I have no problem with the creation and implementation of this.

But.

I'm interested in the data input being from the network - various stats etc- and being able to manipulate these accordingly in the database.

Can anyone give a direction as to the possible implementation of this? I've looked at Wireshark for example? Also looking at what Oracle provide? Very confused.
