Production suite, what happened?

So Oracle said that the JavaFX forums were a place to leave feedback. So I am doing just that.

There used to be a Photoshop and Illustrator plugin to export to JavaFX back in version 1.3. But this stuff hasn't been updated since 2010 according to Oracle's website. Why was this discontinued?
Don't get me wrong I like Scene builder and all that. But the tool set is completely different. Photoshop and Illustrator focus on design, where as Scene Builder focuses on placement. And I guess my next question is what would it take to convince Oracle to update this project to work with JavaFX 2.0+ ?
