My customer has following queries about XML gateway - your input will be highly appreciated.

We have a need to process XML messages that are NCPDP standard coming from external vendor. We have looked at few oracle built in functionality to handle and process the xml payload. But are unable to make technology decision. Can you please point us to an Oracle resource to direct us to choose the right oracle tools and technology so that we are not making incorrect decisions.
High level requirement :
Please note that Aetna EDI gateway is mandatory as pass through due to Aetna security requirements
- Inbound ->
Aetna EDI gateway receives XML payload that is in standard NCPDP Script format
Aetna EDI gateway validates the payload against vendor provided XSD and pushes the payload to Oracle using ????
Oracle processes the messages using ???? and loads data into custom tables for further processing
- Outbound ->
Oracle creates new XML document in NCPDP script format
Oracle pushes the XML payload to EDI
EDI validates the payload against vendor provided XSD and sends it over to external vendor
Options discussed are:
- Oracle AQ à XML Gateway Message Designer à Oracle tables
