process scheduler not starting as a service--urgent

i am using 64 bit windows 2003 server. from the psadmin tool i am able to start and run the reports to success.
when i install a service , event viewer has this error information.
missing some registry entries or dll files.
couldn't get thsi resolved. if anybody has the same problem and a resolution please reply me.
i am using the same user who installed bea, pshome to run the service. same user is full administartor on the system.
every bit of help is needed.
one morething is that after i log off the machine , psadmin tool logs out after 24 hrs or so , bringing the server down. can u adjust the timing on the server.
until we get this server issue resolved.
