Process huge xml files in BPEL

Hi,

I have a requirement to read a huge XML file and insert data into database table.

1) First of all I want to know if BPEL can be used to do this. Because I saw a couple of forums where it said that BPEL is not a good idea to do this.
2) I also saw some forums where it said BPEL with ODI can be used to do this. Can anyone of you please be specific on how to do this?
3) I read about debatching and I want to know what setups/changes I need to do in my orchestration in order to use this feature.
